Andrea Corsini’s brutal thriller Ferine reveals teaser trailer and new international poster
FERINE is the feature directorial debut of Corsini, whose short of the same name debuted at Venice Critics Week 2020 and celebrated its Canadian premiere at Fantasia. The project that would become the feature debuted in the Frontières Proof-of-Concept program at Cannes in 2021 and later participated in the Co-Production program at Montreal’s 2022 edition.
The film itself stars Carolyn Bracken (ODDITY) and Caroline Goodall (SCHINDLER’S LIST), and features an original score from legendary 84-year-old Italian composer Pino Donaggio (DON’T LOOK NOW, CARRIE, THE HOWLING).
The feature is produced by Francesco Grisi and Giorgia Priolo’s EDI Effetti Digitali Italiani, an award winning production and VFX company, with the contribution of the Ministry of Culture and with the support of PR FESR Piemonte 2021-2027 bando “Piemonte Film TV Fund”, together with the support of Film Commission Torino Piemonte and PR FESR Lombardia 2021-2027 bando “Lombardia per il cinema.” Italian distribution of the film will be through Adler Entertainment while its international sales will be handled by Piperplay in collaboration with Berta Fear.
